30 Days to Anti Aging?

Filed under: Ceramide Plump Perfect — admin @ 4:09 am

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could suddenly look and feel younger than you ever have before? Taking ten years off your appearance and regaining some lost, youthful energy is not a fantasy in today’s world. There are many ways you can plan out 30 days to anti aging and find that you look and feel younger with the right products, procedures, and other options. You should also look back into your habits and find things that you need to change before proceeding to your 30 day anti aging plan.

You may not be able to recapture all elements of your youth with a 30 days to anti aging plan but you can certainly look better and feel better at the end of that time, if you understand some basic tips regarding anti aging. If you are into anti-aging, plastic surgeons and dermatologists should be considered a last resort since they will not immediately make you feel better in 30 days.

Here are some quick tips when it comes to a 30 days anti aging plan and simple but important things you can do to look and feel better within that time.

There is a reason why there are several products on the market today! Although moisturizers, lotions and skin products can erase wrinkles as quickly as advertised, selecting the right product can enhance your 30 day anti aging plan. Moisturizers help the skin to avoid getting new wrinkles and make you feel tender.

It is prudent to have natural products in your diet, especially those that contain antioxidants and vitamins. Drinking vitamins and minerals regularly can definitely help the body recover. When you use products that are high in vitamins you are helping the body to turn back the hands of time as much as possible.

Many also find that you can supplement these products with vitamins you take internally; a good supplement can help your 30 days to anti aging plan by helping you heal from the inside out. It is also ideal to use Vitamin E on your skin since they can help you stay moisturized without the additional chemicals found in mainstream products.

Modifying your habits is a great start if you want to have a healthier, anti-aging lifestyle. Things like regular exercise, eating vegetables and fresh fruits, and drinking close to eight glasses a day will help the body recover. These habit changes may seem simple but it can go a long way into changing the appearance and the energy level of a person.

How to Achieve Great Looking Skin Well Past your 40s!

Filed under: Ceramide Plump Perfect — admin @ 2:01 pm

Because makeup looks best on great skin, the trend’s focus quickly shifted to skin-improving products and procedures. With the introduction of microdermabrasion, chemical peels and laser resurfacing, dermatologists became the go-to complexion-perfection experts and soon after that, there was a rebirth in at-home exfoliators, and face creams went high-tech with smoothing, firming and brightening effects. Ever since flawless-looking skin became a trend a few years ago, some of the biggest beauty breakthroughs have come about. Sheer foundations became makeup-artist favourites but, for many women, cosmetics could only do so much.

Through all this, foundations evolved to enhance our now carefully maintained complexions. New textures mimic the look of skin, shades more closely match a wider range of tones, and many formulas address sensitivity and anti-aging issues. Thankfully, for those who struggle with hyperpigmentation or occasional breakouts, today’s foundations can still deliver beautiful results in medium- to full-coverage formulas.

For our April 2007 Homemakers Magazine story on foundation choices, we consulted Chase Aston, international makeup artist and spokesperson for The Body Shop Makeup. Here, he offers application advice for the 40+ woman, as well as tips on what formula works best for each skin type and coverage requirements.

Once you reach your 40s, your skin can start to look and feel dry and dehydrated. Prep with a nongreasy moisturizer. Follow with a hydrating foundation, then, with a large brush, lightly dust with pressed powder to set it. Use a tinted moisturizer, such as Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer ($40 at Holt Renfrew and Sephora), for a sheer effect, or a cream foundation, such as Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Plump Perfect Makeup SPF 15 ($48 at select department stores), for medium to full coverage.

What Makes Your Swimwear So Unique?

Filed under: Swimwear — admin @ 8:43 am

You love unique swimwear and beachwear, right? Maybe you love being the first to wear a new style? Maybe you love being the trendsetter…?

If you find after awhile of shopping for your own personal styles in sexy swimwear that everything starts to look alike- then look again. Only this time, look at your swimwear or beachwear from a unique angle.

Take it off the rack, (or save that image to your computer). Look at it again and ask yourself, “What is so unique about this?” After a hundred trips to the dressing room while searching for that unique swimwear style this can be a difficult task, but it can be done when you already know the answer to the question. (The answer is so simple, it’s almost silly).

What makes your swimwear so unique?
You Do!

“You” are what makes everything you wear so much more unique. It doesn’t matter what it is… a dress or a bikini or a pair of jeans. The unique style of your swimwear depends on the details about you… and not just your eyes, your hair, your height, or your tan. It’s in the details of your attitude and spirit, and the best attitude stems from confidence. There’s more to the old lyric “you wear it well” than meets the eye.

(This is not to say that there is not unique swimwear. There is, and there is good quality unique swimwear available, and quality is something you really want to pay attention to. Elements such as water, heat from the sun, chlorine and salt, and lotions and oils can all be hard on fabrics. While you pay a little more for quality, it is well worth it.)

So, how do you make a unique statement with your swimwear? You stay true to yourself. What do you love? What colors appeal to you? What fabrics keep your senses alive? Who are you dressing for-yourself or do you choose what you wear for other people’s approval? Are you choosing your swimwear based on what everyone else is wearing, or by knowing what looks good on you and what you feel comfortable in? Comfort is a huge factor that gives rise to confidence.

Choosing your fashions (including swimwear and beachwear) to suit your own unique style is what keeps you unique. Let’s face it- we all know we are unique; there is no one else exactly like us- and if you stay true to yourself -whether at work or on the beach or on that cruise- you will be the unique one…every time.

So, the answer is in the question: How do “YOU” make your swimwear unique?
